Description

With an education as a federally certified hotelier / restaurateur HF at the B.H.M.S. you lay the foundation for an international career in the hotel and catering industry. Well-trained specialists and managers are sought in a wide variety of operational and corporate forms - from family-run small businesses to international hotel chains and resorts and luxury service sectors. This also includes trade fair, conference, seminar and congress providers, sports, recreation and wellness facilities, cultural and educational events, as well as hospitals, staff catering in large companies, railroad catering, sports events or in department stores, on cruise ships, casinos or airlines.

Requirements

School-leaving qualification / previous education

  • CH Matura or vocational Matura / high school diploma or vocational baccalaureate
  • Real- / Sekundarschulabschluss + vocational apprenticeship
  • Real- / Sekundarschulabschluss + professional experience (decision "Sur Dossier")
  • Secondary school diploma + professional apprenticeship (decision "Sur Dossier")
  • School education or training recognized as equivalent

Admission decision

  • The head of the department decides on admission to the diploma / bachelor course.
  • Admission may be subject to conditions.

Preliminary internship

  • For persons without a relevant professional apprenticeship in the hospitality industry, the following applies: 10 months of work experience in the hospitality industry (vacation jobs, internships, temporary help, etc.) prior to entry into the B.H.M.S..
  • Registration for training is possible before the pre-internship. We will support you in your search for an internship.
