Description

As a marketing specialist, you will work in all industries, always analyzing what is happening in the market, designing and planning marketing activities and implementing them yourself or with the help of specialists. Your field of work covers all types of economic goods and all marketing instruments. You support the marketing department in its tasks or are independently responsible for a subarea of marketing, for example in digital marketing or product management. They form a central interface between all stakeholders involved in the value creation process and the customers.

As a marketing specialist, you will be responsible for your own area of work, often coordinating external specialists. In carrying out your tasks, which have a significant influence on the corporate performance creation process, you bear great responsibility and form an interface function in the organization.

As a marketing specialist, you create concepts that are always based on marketing objectives. Furthermore, you can set meaningful goals in the concepts and derive strategies. In the financial area you define the required measures within the budget and control them. You will be able to implement cross-media planning integrated across all communication instruments and correctly weight the individual instruments according to targets. You will also be able to plan digital campaigns and systematically use the instruments and channels required for them.

As a marketing specialist, you will be able to gather and analyze information about what is happening on the market with the various market players. You are able to plan and implement the offer and pricing. You are also able to plan, network, implement and control the individual instruments of communication. You design the operative distribution and enter into meaningful partnerships.

As a marketing specialist, your work will make a significant contribution to maintaining and promoting the competitiveness of the company and thus to the well-being of the national economy. You recognize needs and trends in society at an early stage and are able to satisfy them with the right offer. Their way of acting is characterized by an environmentally conscious and resource-conserving attitude.

Requirements

2 years of relevant professional experience and

  • Proof of a federal certificate of proficiency in a profession with at least 3 years of basic vocational training
  • Diploma from a state-recognized commercial secondary school
  • Diploma from a state-recognized diploma secondary school of at least 3 years' duration or a specialized secondary school
  • Matura certificate (all profiles)

Those who provide proof of a federal vocational certificate (EBA) for a profession with at least two years of basic vocational training and who have at least three years of relevant professional experience are also admitted to the examination.
