The BLS Farm Manager School prepares young farmers for their future as entrepreneurs. The BLS prepares students for managing an agricultural business or is the basis for employment in upstream or downstream businesses. BLS 1 is a continuing education course for farm managers who want to deepen their knowledge of production technology as well as their business management fundamentals. BLS 2 provides in-depth training in farm costing, agricultural law, agricultural policy, taxes, pensions and business management. In addition to specialist knowledge, participants also develop their entrepreneurial and leadership skills as well as their personal and social competencies.
Admission to the final examination for the master craftsman's diploma is granted to those who hold the Federal Certificate of Proficiency in Agriculture, have completed the compulsory modules and have achieved at least 20 module points from the elective modules of the professional examination.
